Not long after I bought my camera, Canon was strongly promoting their new World of EOS site, a place where photographers can exhibit photos; learn skills through the video tutorials; and challenge themselves through the photo competitions like the EOS Photochains and the now famous, yearly Canon Photo5 Competition. I checked it out and since then I've been wanting to enter into the competitions but always thought my photos weren't good enough.

Some of you regulars may recognise the photo. This was the photo I took in the Atacama Desert, Chile, while I was over there in December 2009, but I have done a little touch up and re-edited the colour.
