This is defintely one of my favourite brunch places. And now that we've move to Kew, it's just down the road, on the other side of the eastern freeway in Alphington.

Baked Spanish Eggs
This was the second time I've been now. First time I had the baked spanish eggs, so this time I tried something different. My original intention was to try the banana bread, but felt like something savoury this morning and went with the tasmanian salmon. Very good indeed! And to finish off, a chai tea with honey.
It's not just the food that draws me to this place. It's also the atmosphere. With the eating areas out the back and the long dining room tables inside, it has a warm, homely feel about the place.
Open from 8am till 4pm daily but if going on weekends, brunch is busiest so expect a little wait. For more information - http://www.aptecafe.com.au/
